Encaustic 16 x 8 in on cradled birch panel.  I like this size of support it allows me to create with the blow torch with long sweeping motions.  Each encaustic  piece is created by painting on layers of wax and then using the blow torch to create the shapes, the flow of wax with the heat of the fire make interesting shapes, colours and compositions.
