Encaustic 12 x 12 in / 30.5 x 30.5cm on cradled birch wood.   Several layers of bees wax and several sessions made this piece.  Much of my work is abstract and encaustic art lends itself to creating abstracts, the flow of the wax with the blow torch allows the painting emerge and its is knowing when to stand back and know it is done., is the secret.   Currently in the Modern Abstracts Exhibition Eccles Art Centre, Ogden, Utah.
